Employees Who Are Parents of Children with Disabilities

Dear Parent,

St. John’s University is committed to help improve the lives of those who care for a person with special needs. We strive to help advance the support of parents in and out of their workplace.

We are currently collecting data on the work engagement of employees who are parents of children with special needs. Our goal is for this data to serve as a first step in a larger discussion about human resource practices for the support of parents in the workplace. We are asking you to spend fifteen minutes to share your views by completing a short and anonymous survey relevant to your employment prior to COVID-19.

Please know that your participation will help parents and employers support other parents of children with special needs. The survey is 100% anonymous and no one has access to the data but St. John’s.  No names or identifying info is collected or ever shared.
