Long-standing social and economic inequities have contributed to multiple social determinants of health that increase the risk of getting or dying from COVID-19. In the United States, Black Americans are dying at 2.5 times the rate of white Americans, while facing barriers to testing, treatment, and options for prevention and self-protection. This webinar will discuss how systemic racism harms health, and how solutions-based approaches at the state and community level are making a difference.
