Build, Learn, Grow Scholarship Fund Extended

The Build, Learn, Grow Scholarship Fund has been extended for qualified families through June of 2022. Families that work in essential businesses are eligible to receive scholarships towards their children’s early care and education, summer learning or out-of-school care. Autism Service Providers Wanted for Research Project

From an IU Psychology Fellow "Hello, my name is Rachel Severs, PsyD, and I am a psychology fellow who is conducting a research study on care coordination and service delivery experiences from service providers.    I am looking to recruit service providers who deliver at least one or more autism-related services to patients/clients.      The purpose of this study is to determine how service providers view effective care coordination for individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD). The study will use a survey, which includes basic demographic and work information, along with questions about your experiences with care coordination and service delivery as a service provider.      If you are a service provider who fits this criterion and are interested in participating, the following link will take you to the survey. Social Security Administration (SSA) Update on ABLE Regarding Repayments

On September 28, 2021, the Social Security Administration received guidance from the Internal Revenue Service allowing: (1) the repayment of benefit overpayments to SSA as an ABLE qualified disability expense and (2) the repayment of representative payee fees from an ABLE account for pre-approved fee-for- service representative payees.  Both fall under the category of “financial management” under § 1.529A–2(h)(1).
