From Child Mind Institute
Wednesday, September 14, 20227:00PM – 8:00PM EST Children have been through a lot in the past few years. As they go back to school this fall it’s not surprising that they may feel some anxiety, whether it’s lingering concerns about COVID, fears about violence in schools, or social anxiety about starting a new school or making friends. This talk will help parents learn how to use reinforcement and validation to support children in managing their anxiety. Specific coping strategies will be shared, along with information about how to tell when to seek professional support. Host clinician: Katie Peinovich, LCSW | |
