Survey/Interview Opportunity

If you are a caregiver of a child with chronic and complex medical conditions, you are eligible to participate in a study to help John Hopkins School of Medicine learn more about concerns you might have had when your child was receiving care.  Perhaps a time when you were unsure what to do.  Or when there were disagreements about what to do.  You might think about a doctor's advice, your own values, or family issues.

Up to 50 people who complete the survey will also be asked to participate in a telephone interview (lasting 30 minutes) to learn more about your perspective.  People who complete the interview will receive a $25 gift certificate.  The primary goal is to describe the challenges caregivers face when making tough choices related to the care of children with serious medical conditions.  The survey and interview are part of a research study entitled, "Tension Points: Families Facing Tough Choices" (IRB 00328248; Principal Investigator: Renee Boss MD).

Please click here if you are willing to complete the survey.  At the end of the survey, you will be asked to email them if you would like to participate in the telephone interview.
