Family Voices recognizes that many of our members struggle with the financial hardships of raising a child with special health care needs. If you are interested in participating in the following project, please follow the instructions below: Case Studies on Family Financial Hardship Background The Catalyst Center at the Boston University School of Public Health has a grant from the Maternal and Child Health Bureau at the Health Resources and Financing Administration (HRSA) to help ensure that “all children and youth with special health care needs will have adequate health insurance and financing to meet their needs.” As part of our work, we are collecting stories on financial hardships families have had in caring for a child with special needs. We will use these stories to show the importance of improving insurance coverage or other resources that will benefit children and their families.
