Champion Your Future Conference

Too often FV Indiana hears from our members about how disappointed they were that they missed an important training or resource because the information was not shared with them. In an effort to address this we ask that each of you share the following with interested families and the professionals that serve them.
In particular if you could share this with ANY middle and high school teachers that would be very helpful. Two of FV Indiana's leaders will be presenting at this event so, plan to say hello!

Exhibitors will offer information and resources for students and families.

Featuring Keynote Speaker, Mike Schlappi.

Nationally known Gold Medalist, author and speaker Mike Schlappi will inspire you with his message of how your life can be defined by what you can do instead of what you can’t do.

At the age of 14, Mike dreamed of a career in sports. A gunshot wound to the chest challenged his dreams. He would never walk again. After months of physical therapy, he began playing basketball from his wheelchair and went on to become a standout athlete. Mike Schlappi’s thought-provoking presentation challenges people of all ages to realize that despite difficult circumstances, you can take responsibility and be empowered. Learn more about Mike at: www.mikeschlappi.com
Registration is $15 per person, but no more than $60 per family, and includes a box lunch.
Please note that there is no charge for you to register an attendant if one is needed for a student to participate in the conference.

Please help us plan for the conference by pre-registering before April 17, 2009.
