Provider Agencies Launch Grassroots Campaign

Family Voices wants to share information about a current effort to educate the public about the impact of disability services. The Indiana Association of Rehabilitation Facilities, INARF, has started a website, www.INquietCrisis.org, to help educate the public about the issues faced by people with disabilities.

As stated by their President/CEO, Jim Hammond, “Disability services are often unknown to people outside the service delivery system. For many Hoosiers, there is a lack of awareness about the services that help people with disabilities live productive and independent lives - and the organizations that support them. Today, more than ever, it is critical that we change this reality. In the face of limited public resources, it is our responsibility to tell the story of the awesome impact that an investment in disability services can have for individuals and their communities.”
