2011 Irving Rosenbaum Community Pediatrics Recognition Award

FV Indiana congratulates Dr. Judith Ganser on receiving the 2011 Irving Rosenbaum Community Pediatrics Recognition Award. Each year the Indiana Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics may recognize a physician in Indiana for distinguished service to children. This award is named in honor of Dr. Irving Rosenbaum, one of Indiana’s most distinguished pediatricians. Dr. Ganser’s serves as the Medical Director for The Maternal and Child Health, Children’s Special Health Care Services and WIC at the Indiana State Department of Health.
Dr. Ganser has long been a champion for the inclusion of the family perspective and the development of strong family leaders as a critical perspective in service provision and program design. Many family leaders have had the pleasure of working as a partner with Dr. Ganser and every Hoosier family has been touched by her impact.
