Weighing the Options for Children’s Health Care and Medicaid: First Do No Harm
FV Indiana appreciates our members' commitment to sharing with policymakers why Medicaid Matters. As Congress faces difficult budget challenges in the coming weeks, we are thrilled to share with you an additional way to share your voice. National Family Voices together with the American Academy of Pediatrics, March of Dimes, The National Association of Children's Hospitals and MANY others is hosting a briefing at noon on Tuesday, November 29th for Members of Congress and their staff on Medicaid and role that it plays in supporting various populations of children including children with special health care needs. The briefing will take place in the Russell Senate Office Building Room 325.
You can use this briefing as an opportunity to connect with your congressional delegation, please call and email the offices of Senator Lugar, Senator Coats and your Congressman between now and Monday November 28th to urge them to attend. During your contact you should share how important Medicaid is to your family and families like yours! Hearing directly from families is critical for our delegation.
