As my daughter is soon to be graduating out of college she can continue to be on our health insurance plan so as parents we are grateful that no medical issue will be put off because of not being insured.

This is the only portion of the Affordable Care Act that applies to me, but I am so grateful for it. I know the bill is important for a great many reasons, but allowing older children to stay on their parent’s health care allows me to attend school full time and only work part time. Without this I would be forced not only to maintain my grades, but also have to worry about how I will pay for doctors’ visits. I can truly say the act has allowed me to be the best student possible.
