Powerful Parents mtg Richmond April 19
Family Voices encourages its members to learn more about upcoming changes to the waiver system. The Arc of Indiana is hosting a meeting ( Thursday, April 12, 2012, 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Marriott East, 7202 E. 21st Street, Indianapolis. The meeting is free to attend and includes lunch). For those who can not attend, materials will be posted on the web. Family Voices Indiana and ASK are also working together to provide online options for additional learning once DDRS releases the report detailing the changes in the near future.
We want to share this additional opportunity for a local meeting to learn more. From DDRS:
DDRS would like to reinvigorate the Power Parents work group in order to:
- Create a network of family contacts within the districts
- Share information on available resources for families
- Make DDRS plans and initiatives transparent in how they affect your family
- Listen to how DDRS can make connections for your family needs

Meeting will be held in the Municipal City Building Community Room on the 2nd floor, last room on the Right.
*Park in the front and use the police entrance (West doors).
