Former Surgeon General C. Everett Koop dies at 96

Family Voice Indiana remembers the life and work of Dr. C Everett Koop. C. Everett Koop, the former surgeon general of the United States, died Feb. 25 at his home in Hanover, N.H. He was among the first to shine a light on the needs of children with disabilities and special health care needs:

 "The health care industry can play a great role in this by being aware of the fact that these children form perhaps the most neglected group of people in country..."
