Changes for Fort Wayne BDDS and VR office

Family Voices shares the following announcement from DDRS:

On March 31, 2014, the Ft. Wayne office of the Indiana 

Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services’ (DDRS) Bureau of Developmental Disabilities 

(BDDS) and Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS), located at 219 W. Wayne St. in Ft. Wayne, 

will relocate to 201 E. Rudisill Blvd., Suite 300. DDRS is part of the Indiana Family and Social 

Services Administration (FSSA). This move is intended to make it easier for Hoosiers in Allen and 

surrounding counties to receive services from FSSA, as the new office will be co-located with 

FSSA’s Division of Family Resources (DFR), along with other state agencies. 

 

The service area for the Vocational Rehabilitation Services office at this location includes Allen, 

DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble, Steuben and Whitley counties. The Bureau of Developmental 

Disabilities office service area includes Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, LaGrange, Noble, 

Steuben, Wells and Whitley counties.
