Family Voices Indiana, along with The Arc of Indiana, About Special Kids (ASK), Autism Society of Indiana, and Indiana Resource Center for Autism has developed a fact sheet to explain how autism treatment benefits can be accessed through Medicaid's EPSDT requirement. EPSDT is a program under ALL Medicaid health insurance plans that requires Medicaid to cover medically necessary services linked to a diagnosis for children ages 0-21, in order to address and prevent potentially disabling conditions.
