Re: Bureau of Quality Improvement Services – Director Announcement Date: October 7, 2016

I am very excited to announce Jessica Harlan-York as the new director of the Bureau of Quality Improvement Services (BQIS). She comes to the Division of Disability and Rehabilitative Services (DDRS) as a Deputy Attorney General with the Office of Indiana Attorney General, Medicaid Fraud Control Unit.

As the Director of DDRS, I am very appreciative of Jessica’s background in Medicaid and her ability to understand the intersections of DDRS, the Office of Medicaid Policy and Planning and other Family and Social Servicers Administration programs. This knowledge will be of tremendous value in the various initiatives within DDRS. Jessica started on October 3, 2016, and is excited to begin her work as the new BQIS Director. She is looking forward to opportunities to meet you and receive your input on how we can continue to improve our work with DDRS consumers, families and providers.

As I continue to grow the DDRS team, it is critical to identify individuals who understand the population that we serve. Jessica has provided services for individuals with autism in the past and continues to be actively involved in the community through her volunteer activities.

Please join me in welcoming Jessica to the DDRS team!
