USDA Extends Free Meals for Kids Through December 31, 2020

 

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has approved waivers that offer free meal- breakfast and lunch- to all students regardless of their current eligibility. The USDA is reimbursing school corporations nationwide for all meals served from July 30 to as late as December 31, as long as funding remains. This unprecedented move will help ensure - no matter the situation - children will have access to nutritious food as the country recovers from the COVID-19 pandemic.
