Vaccination Guidance for Schools

Dr. Kristina Box, Indiana State Health Commissioner, has provided guidance to school nurses on immunization requirements for the 2020 - 2021 school year. Most importantly, she reminded school nurses that regardless of in-person or virtual learning, this year's immunization requirements remain the same as in prior years. The guidance also encourages school nurses be an advocate for all CDC recommended vaccines this school year, beyond those that are required for school attendance.
