The Child Neurology Foundation is working to expand the use of genetic testing as a way to shorten the diagnostic journey for children living with a neurologic condition. They are currently taking applications from child neurologists for free whole genome sequencing until February 7, 2021.
Thanks to the generous support of Illumina, they are able to provide whole genome sequencing at no cost (aside from possible routine venipuncture costs) to a limited number of patients — up to 5 medical sites and 20 children who have not previously received a molecular diagnosis in the US.
