Supreme Court Ends Federal Eviction Moratorium

The U.S. Supreme Court ruled to end the temporary stay on a lower court ruling invalidating the federal eviction moratorium issued by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). This means the CDC’s August 3 eviction moratorium is no longer in effect, putting millions of households at risk of eviction.
