Federal PHE Extended

 

The current Federal Public Health Emergency (PHE), which provides continuous enrollment for Medicaid programs and enhanced funding for states, has been extended through July 15th, 2022. This officially pushes the earliest end to continuous enrollment to August 1, 2022. An extension beyond that date is not currently expected, but the federal government has agreed to provide states with formal notice by mid-May if the PHE is indeed expiring on July 15th.
