Indiana Emergency Rental Assistance - Portal Closing

The Indiana Emergency Rental Assistance (IERA) program has assisted more than 29,000 Hoosier households with rent and utility payments. IERA has already reserved more than $366 million for 18 months of assistance for those 28,400 households. The IERA program works by reserving 18 months of assistance for each approved household.

To allow program staff to review pending applications and assess remaining funds, the IERA application portal will be closing on July 29, 2022 at 5 pm. IHCDA will continue to process applications which are in the queue until funds have been exhausted. Hoosier renters in need of assistance can visit indianahousingnow.org to apply before July 29, 2022 at 5 p.m.
