"For more than six months, Bloomberg Law Reporter Ronnie Greene investigated the patchwork guardianship systems trough the United States.  Bloomberg Law's five-part series, "In the Name of Protection," dives into the many problems that can exist within the guardianship system.  The series also illustrates that individuals with disabilities and/or seniors can be at heightened risk for being victimized through guardianship.

Schrock served as a subject matter expert for the series and connected Bloomberg Law with clients from IDR's Supported Decision-Making program.  The series' first article includes quotes from Schrock and highlights IDR client Nick Clouse.  IDR client Sara Abbott is featured in the series' fourth article.
