"Since April 1, when states were permitted to begin terminating Medicaid coverage for people protected by COVID-19 continuous enrollment provisions, over 500,000 people have been disenrolled, including nearly 250,000 in Florida alone.  According to a KFF analysis of early data from 11 states, over 80% of terminations in Florida, Arkansas, and Indiana were due to people not completing the redetermination process, as opposed to people who were found to no longer qualify for Medicaid."
