Help FSSA Improve Services to Individuals Receiving Medicaid Home Health
"The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration is inviting individuals receiving Medicaid Home Health services, along with their family members or guardians, to participate in upcoming virtual and/or in-person focus groups. Focus groups are optional, and you are not required to participate.
Purpose of Focus Groups: These focus groups will offer FSSA valuable insight into challenges individuals might be experiencing, such as difficulty finding a home health provider to meet their needs, keeping staff once they find a good match, and gaining authorization for home health services. Focus groups will also offer participants an opportunity to share ideas or suggested solutions to their challenges.
To clarify: Medicaid Home Health services, refer to the following:
- Assistance with daily living, such as getting in and out of beds, wheelchairs, and motor vehicles, including the use of lift equipment
- Assistance with routine personal care, such as bathing and personal hygiene; using the toilet; dressing and grooming; ad feeding, including preparation and cleanup.
- Assistance with medication, such as creating reminders to take medication, opening preset medication containers, and aiding individuals to take medication.
