IHCP announces expanded coverage of biomarker testing

In accordance with Senate Enrolled Act 273 (SEA 273), beginning July 1, 2024, the Indiana Health Coverage Programs (IHCP) will expand coverage for biomarker testing when certain conditions are met. As used in this policy, biomarker testing means the analysis of a patient’s tissue, blood or other biospecimen for the presence of a biomarker.
