DDRS seeks your input on Employment First Best Practices

"In 2020 the Indiana Commission on Rehabilitation Services developed an Employment First Plan. This plan includes ideas for promoting employment for all individuals with disabilities.

We need your input!

The Commission is looking for examples of Employment First best practices in Indiana communities.

• Are you a person with a disability who is employed? We would love to hear how employment impacts your life, and tips for other job seekers with disabilities.
• Are you part of an agency that helps people find employment? Please share successful practices or partnerships that increase job opportunities.
• Are you an employer that supports diverse hiring practices, including hiring qualified candidates with disabilities? What strategies have been most impactful in diversifying your workplace?
• Are you a community member witnessing more employment opportunities for people with disabilities?
