Indiana Family to Family’s 9th Annual Heart to Heart Conference is set for September 25, 2025, as a virtual event for over 300 families caring for children with health and mental health needs and the professionals supporting them. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work, share knowledge, and connect with families and peers across the state.

The theme, "Building the Bridge", focuses on enhancing the lives of individuals with disabilities and mental health conditions. Topics may include accessibility improvements, assistive technologies, inclusive education, advocacy for equal opportunities, and community programs for social inclusion. Discussions may also cover mental health support, career development, and adaptive recreational activities, aiming to create a more inclusive society.

Proposal Guidelines

Proposals should be submitted through our online form, where authors can outline their innovative ideas, research findings, and practical strategies that address the conference theme. We invite contributions from a diverse range of voices, including family members, advocates, educators, healthcare professionals, and individuals with lived experiences. Submissions presented in Spanish are also encouraged.  We urge you to think creatively and consider how your unique insights and expertise can contribute to our conference’s success. Whether you're interested in leading a workshop, delivering a keynote, or hosting a panel discussion, we welcome a variety of formats and ideas that will engage and inspire attendees.  We look forward to receiving thoughtful contributions that will inspire and uplift our community.  Click the button below to submit a proposal.
