From IHCDA's Friday Note
Ramps are one of the most common modifications requested by Hoosiers with a household member who has a mobility impairment or who uses a wheelchair. Ramps can accommodate a range of physical needs, increase safety, reduce the risk of falling, and can help maintain a person's independence. They allow for aging-in-place in the home. However, the cost of installing a ramp is often a barrier.
Ramp Up Indiana provides grants to not-for-profit organizations for the installation of exterior ramps. You can learn more about the program by clicking here.
