A Tufts University Occupational Therapy third-year doctoral student is developing a pilot program to gather caregiver feedback on The Sunfish Method's swim instructor program. The Sunfish Method is an adaptive swimming lesson online training course that provides expert guidance on teaching fundamental water safety skills to children regardless of their disabilities or differences while being both affordable and accessible.
As part of this pilot, caregivers will:
1.Complete The Sunfish Method swim instructor program (fully online and self-paced)
2.Participate in one virtual caregiver focus group (approximately 1 hour)
3.Have the option to complete up to one 1-hour individual evaluation session before, during, or after the program to help inform caregiver-focused materials and supports
