Tell the IACC to Support Communication Access!

Help tell the U.S. Interagency Autism Coordinating Committee (IACC) to do more to support nonspeaking autistics and communication access! Public comments are due November 30. CommunicationFIRST has prepared sample comments you can use here.

At least one-third of autistics require communication tools and supports, but nowhere near enough attention and resources are spent to ensure nonspeaking autistics are provided with access to robust, language-based augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), or provided with equitable access to education, employment, and community living opportunities. Help us encourage the IACC to fix this!
