The City of Fishers is inviting you to join the Smart911 application. Starting April 1, 2022, Fishers public safety dispatch will begin utilizing the Smart911 emergency management system. The free, Smart911 application is used nationwide to provide first responders across the country, regardless of your physical location, your health and emergency details to better assist during a crisis. This system allows users to include additional information such as vehicle descriptions, medications, medical emergency contacts and proxies, home floor plans, and pet information. Smart911 is encrypted and secure and all personal information can only be accessed by first responders when an emergency event has been triggered with a call for assistance by the application user. Users may input as much or as little information into the system as they wish to provide. Additionally, when registering with Smart911, you may also sign up for RAVE smart notifications to receive important emergency communications from City and County health and safety officials regarding public emergencies in your area. |
