April 22, 10:30 - 11:30 am ET Learning to Safely Live with COVID-19 - Ask the Expert: Dr. Abigail Klemsz, Riley Hospital

The Center for Health Equity at the Indiana Institute on Disability and Community is hosting a free webinar on April 22 (Friday) from 10:30 am to 11:30 am ET (9:30 am - 10:30 am CT). This webinar will feature Dr. Abigail Klemsz and disability advocates in Indiana. Abigail Klemsz, MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Clinical Pediatrics at Riley Hospital for Children and the Assistant Dean for Academic Advising for the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Klemsz has an expertise in Developmental - Behavioral Pediatrics.

The webinar will cover information about how people with disabilities and their caregivers can remain safe as many places around the country ease or remove COVID-19 restrictions. The webinar will also cover COVID-19 vaccination for young kids. Disability advocates will share experiences of how they are safely navigating life during the pandemic and making sure their children remain safe.
