The Indiana Recovery Council (IRC) is an advisory council to the Indiana Family and Social Services Administration's Division of Mental Health and Addiction (DMHA) which consists of individuals that support the goal of a recovery-oriented, person-centered service delivery system in Indiana.
Every year the IRC conducts a lived experience survey to collect information from individuals in recovery with mental health, substance use or gambling issues regarding barriers and any stigma or discrimination they face. The IRC will use the survey results to make recommendations to DMHA about ways to decrease barriers and help those with lived experience live well in their recovery.
If you are an individual with lived experience, or a family member, please click here to fill out the survey.
