Social Security Administration could cut up to 50% of its workforce

Over 1,200 Social Security Administration field offices (the community-based Social Security offices conducting business with SSA) serve more than 120,000 people every day.  Plans for significant staff reductions have been reported, which could impact the ability for people to access information and assistance.  Find more information here
