The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has approved waiver amendment for the Health & Wellness (H&W) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Waivers. The amendment includes:
- adding self-directed service options for attendant care, respite, and home and community assistance
- the addition of benefits counseling as an available service
- the addition of extended employment services to the H&W Waiver
- changes to attendant care under the H&W Waiver
- combining the two separate services of home modification and home modification assessment into one service
- and more.
