Each year during Infantile Spasms Awareness week, the Child Neurology Foundation awards one $1,000 Harnett Grant in memory Brendan Michael Harnett who was diagnosed with infantile spasms and passed away before his first birthday. The grant is intended to support a child with infantile spasms and their caregivers. The funds can be used in whatever way would best help the family. Eligible families in the United States with a child under age 18 who has infantile spasms are encouraged to apply. One application is allowed per household. The recipient will be selected at random from eligible, complete applications.
Applications are due November 20, 2026, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT.
