Virtual Forum on COVID-19 & Schools

The Indiana Public Health Association invites you to join in one of two upcoming virtual forums on COVID-19 & Schools, intended for school nurses, other school/district personnel, parents, local public health partners, and anyone else interested in hearing updates, asking questions, and sharing information related to keeping kids IN the classroom and coronavirus OUT. Registration is FREE!

The forums will be held on:

Each day will feature the same agenda, so pick the one that works best for you. A recording will be made available, as well.

As we continue to implement efforts that help limit the risk of COVID-19 spreading within schools and the community – such as vaccination, masking, social distancing, and temperature taking – routine testing remains an important mitigation strategy. Luckily, there are a variety of options for testing in K-12 schools, so that children and staff who are positive can be quickly identified and quarantine, to then return to school as soon as possible.

Join us to discuss

  • Updates and current best practices with regard to testing, tracing, isolation/quarantine guidance, and vaccination
  • Options for routine, proactive testing and the ReadyCheckGo program
  • Other COVID-19 resources available to support leadership and staff in K-12 schools
